DUE DATE French Bulldog Walk
Warner Brothers is holding a mass French Bulldog walk at David Lam Park in Yaletown to promote the new film DUE DATE opening Friday, November 5.
DUE DATE French Bulldog Walk will be hosted on Saturday, October 30 between 12:00-1:00pm.
Dogs will be wearing protective cones as they appear in the film. To thank participants, all walkers will receive DUE DATE t-shirts and movie passes.

Wendel's Bookstore and Cafe
We just recently moved to Langley and we love it so much. Angel and Tubby get more green space to run around and there are so many dogs everywhere we go especially Walnut Grove area and Fort Langley. We discovered this great Cafe which is pet friendly and their breakfast is delicious. The service was amazing too. Ellwood Park Animal Hospital is moving!
Ellwood Park Animal Hospital will be relocating. I am super excited. Even though it's going to be longer commute for me from Vancouver, I will always follow where ever Dr. Ray goes. The new facility - twice the size of their current hospital - is in the Parallel Marketplace mall currently under construction, near the Whatcom Road exit in Abbotsford.
My favorite English Bulldog Breeders
Ever since I brought Angel home the first day, I have always been looking for the best English bulldog breeders in Canada. Angel is my first dog so I didn't know anything about puppy mills. I found Angel on Province newspaper. The seller wasn't a English bulldog breeder. She had so many different breeds in her home. This is why I think all the puppies were from puppy mills. Now I am extremely careful where to get my next English bulldog from. The following breeders are my favorite English bulldog breeders I find so far. If you know any good English bulldog breeders in Canada, please let me know too.

Dog friendly Vietnamese Restaurant
Vina Vietnamese Cuisine on Marine Drive in West Vancouver has the best beef noodle soup and they are dog friendly. I have always been looking for restaurants allow dogs in the patio. My friend told me that their food has always been consistent in quality and taste. The beef pho soup is tasty and hot so that we are able to cook our raw beef in it. The noodles are light and compliment the heavy taste of the broth. The service was amazing too. The server told me that I can bring Angel and Tubby there anytime I like so they can enjoy the tasty beef as well. I love Vietnamese food so much. It's only 5 min drive from downtown. They are located on 2508 Marine Drive, West Vancouver.

How to make a speedy recovery from surgery for Angel
Ever since the surgery, Angel has been more active than ever. Because there are lots of people feel bad for her, she has been staying awake most of time and expecting for unlimited amount of treats. Just couple days ago, my friend Lily boiled a whole organic chicken for Angel. And of course she ate it all. Her stomach got extremely big and finally gave up asking for more food. She is definitely not going to get that ever again cuz we all know it's not good for her to eat that much in a day. However, this is the best way to speed up the recovery from surgery for Angel. =D

Lola has been adopted
Thanks for everyone's concern and help. Lola has been adopted on Saturday by a great bulldog lover. With all the care and love from the new owner, I am sure Lola will be just as happy as before. Wish her the best of everything!
Tubby doing tricks at the west end dog show
We missed videotaping Tubby doing tricks at the West End Dog Show last year of August. Tubby was in a contest. However, I was just watching lots of French bulldogs related youtube videos tonight and found out someone posted this video of Tubby doing tricks at the West End Dog Show. Looking for a new home for Lola
One of the most lovely English bulldogs in Coal Harbour is looking for a new family. Her name is Lola. She has been our royal customer ever since we opened on Dec 17, 2007. Her owner Debbie is a wonderful lady who has been adopting lots of dogs from Mexico and Vancouver. She has been looking after her dogs very well and they are all very spoiled. The reason why Debbie is looking for a new home for Lola is because Debbie lives in an apartment and she has 5 dogs in total. Lola is the biggest out of all the dogs she adopted. Debbie would prefer to keep Lola unless she finds a very good home for her. Tubby loves this new collection of the Henrietta family. Henrietta is raised on a quaint little chicken farm in America's Heartland. Henrietta showed a flair for performing at an early age. As an adult, she moved to Las Vegas with dreams of fame and fortune. She quickly took the town by storm and was cast as a genuine Vegas showgirl. During her twenty year career she danced in numerous shows and even headlined the now infamous burlesque show. Now retired, Henrietta lives a quiet life, far from the Vegas footlights, in a swanky trailer park near Fort Lauderdale. Wild Chicken.
2010 Winter Olympics
Did you have lots of fun during the winter Olympics? Tubby did. I have never seen so many people in downtown Vancouver. The best part was Canada won the most GOLD!!!!! YAY!!!!! Most people were all wearing red including Tubby. Tubby was wearing a Canadian flag which wrapped around his body.We also made Canadian flags with a paw for our window display. Ashley and Colin brought Tubby to see the torch and Tubby got so much attentions and so many people wanted to take pictures of him. However, Angel could careless about all the excitements. She would rather sit at home and read the newspaper instead.
Angel had a tumor
I noticed Angel had a small lump (about the size of dime) a few months ago. It was on the side of her stomach. It felt like a soft marble sized lump under his skin. It got bigger and smaller and sometimes it disappeared. Angel didn't mind or notice the lump and she was acting more active than ever before. So, I thought it shouldn't be a big deal and I didn't bring Angel to see Dr. Ray right away.
My mother in law noticed the lump on Monday and insisted to bring Angel to see Dr. Ray. Dr. Ray found out it was a tumor. I felt so bad I didn't bring Angel in right away. Angel had an operation the next day and Dr. Ray removed the tumor completely. However, I had to wait for a couple of days to find out the result from a lab to see if it was cancerous. It was the worst days in my life. Luckily, the surgery was a success and the test results came back with great news!
Angel is getting extra care (especially treats) from everyone till she is fully recovered. Thank you so much for everyone's concerns.
